Qualifications of working-age population across UK cities
Scotland had a lower proportion of working-age people with a degree than the UK average, as did Nottingham and Birmingham. Of the selected UK cities, Edinburgh had the highest proportion of working-age adults with a degree. Only Bristol and Edinburgh had a lower proportion of people without any educational qualifications than the UK average (5.1%), while Glasgow had the highest proportion of the working-age population without qualifications (8.2%).
