The chart above compares greenspace and publicly accessible greenspace as a percentage of urban areas across the Glasgow City Region local authorities. In these local authorities, greenspace accounts for 53%-64% of the urban area, but when publicly accessible greenspace is solely considered it only makes up 32%-50% of the urban area. East Renfrewshire has the lowest percentage of publicly accessible greenspace (31.7%), while North Lanarkshire has the highest percentage (50.3%).
