By Qualification
Participation in any cultural activity in the last 12 months by highest level of qualification: comparison between Glasgow and Scotland
Both nationally and within Glasgow, those with higher levels of qualifications are more likely to participate in cultural activity. Those with further or higher education qualifications were most likely to participate, followed by those with school-level qualifications. The lowest levels of cultural participation were among adults with no qualifications, only 46% of this group in Glasgow had taken part in any cultural activity in the last year.
Notes on data
It should be noted that many of the apparent differences in the figures between Glasgow and Scotland may not be significant due to the relatively small sample sizes of the survey data.
The sample size for other qualifications in Glasgow was too small to report in this case.
