White ethnic groups (0-15 year olds) in the Glasgow City Region
East Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire have the highest percentage of 0-15 year olds from ‘Other White British’ (not White Scottish) ethnic groups compared to the other Glasgow City Region local authorities. Glasgow has the largest percentage of ‘White Polish’ and ‘Other White’ 0-15 year olds compared to all other local authorities in the Glasgow City Region.
Non-white ethnic groups (0-15 year olds) in the Glasgow City Region
Glasgow has a larger percentage of non-white ethnic minority groups compared to the other local authorities in the Glasgow City Region (33%). East Renfrewshire has the second highest percentage of non-white ethnic groups with (21%). Just less than one-in-ten in East Renfrewshire (8%) and Glasgow (9%) are from Pakistani ethnic groups.
