Edinburgh has the highest percentage of 0-15 year olds from white ethnic groups (excluding White British), with one in ten. Birmingham had a considerably smaller percentage with just 3% from non-British white ethnic groups.
0-15 year olds from non-white ethnic groups, selected UK cities
Birmingham and Manchester have the highest percentage of 0-15 year olds from non-white ethnic groups (67% and 62%, respectively) of the selected UK cities. The percentage of non-white ethnic groups for Glasgow is one third (33%). Pakistani and mixed or multiple ethnic groups are the largest non-white ethnic groups for most of the selected UK cities.

The white ethnic groups for UK cities have been grouped due to differences in the Scotland and England and Wales Census questions.
